getting started

Soooooo, Ive just signed up to a 30 day challenge in the middle of summer -  which given the various social events on will be a double challenge, but Ive got to turn a slug into something a bit firmer and get back into all those 8-10 dresses hanging in my wardrobe rather than the 10-12 currently. Much as Im enjoying some of the advantages of having truly boootilicious mad men style curves.......Im getting a bit annoyed about stuff just not fitting.

Im 5 ft 7 (169cm) and 70Kg. I want to be back down at my ususal 60-62 please!

there is only so much putting off that can be acceptable and Im fed up of hearing myself moan about the tightness of my clothes and whatnot.

Frankly I have a damn good excuse for putting on a stone in weight.......I broke 21 ribs last year and could not move for months on end. I ahve a collapsing spine and sever bone disease in the form of osteoporosis. Im 36 years old, its incredibly rare and my life has been a terrible challenge to me since being able to race about, fly planes (and jump out of them), horse riding and polo, all manner of crazy adrenaline experiences, including climbing Kilimnajaro in Nov 2010, all culminating in my life now, a restricted and flabbier version of a couple of years ago. But  -  the only person who can help myeself is ME. so, lets do this thing.......

I've just signed up for London Personal Trainer Dax Moy's ED Summer Challenge and I'll be keeping a day by day, blow by blow account of the whole thing
